We'd like to congratulate Granny Lou's for being the winner of this month's free hosting site. At the beginning of each month we will call up our own site's homepage. Whomever's site is the featured site when the page loads will get FREE hosting of one domain for one month. It's just our way of saying thank you.
Good Experiences - What people really buy are experiences, hopefully positive ones. Whether it's soft ice cream or a lodging reservation, what people are paying for is the experience your product or service provides. Does your Web site offer an enjoyable experience? Does it explain the experience your product or service delivers? If it doesn't, then you really haven't got anything anybody wants.
Thanks For the Memories - Our here and now and our plans for the future are based on our experiences, our histories, and our memories. We take pictures of our kids, holidays, and special events; we commemorate birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, and milestones of all kinds. Even the significance of our prized possessions is centered on the fact that those mere objects represent memories of the people, places, and events that shaped our lives. Real marketing, the kind that creates long-term clients and customer relationships, is not about coupons, sale promotions, or deep discounts; it's about delivering memories.
Keep Them On Your Site - It's not about how many hits you get on your Web site, it's about how long people stay. If visitors remain on your site long enough to get your marketing message then you must have said something worth listening to, and if visitors get the message, your site has done its job. If your Web site delivers the message, then you can expect the e-mail inquiries and phone calls to start flowing, but it's still up to you to close the sale or get them to commit to a reservation: people close sales not Web sites.
Site Personality - Does your Web site just lie there with no personality, just more of the same tedious, dull, dreary, mind-numbing, tiresome, lackluster, monotonous, stuff everybody else has? Boring! Don't worry about hits, put something on your site worth seeing or hearing about.
I've found (and fallen in love with) a new service that I'm using more and more each day. I remember lots of things when I'm away from my computer and only have my cell phone. Oh, ya, I could leave myself a message on my cell phone, but then I'd have to remember to play it back when I got to the office.
Jott™ is a revolutionary new service that automatically converts your voice into e-mail and text messages—anytime, anywhere, with any cell phone. Jott™ makes you more productive and efficient by capturing your ideas, notes to self, tasks, and more without using your keypad and then sending the message via e-mail to your inbox.
Stuck in traffic? Just speak your to-do list into Jott™.
Want to eliminate repetitive calls? E-mail your team with a single Jott.
Forget something? Use your voice to create Jott reminders.
Jott™ is a safer, hands-free way to send text and e-mail messages on the go. And it’s free, so sign up today.
Help these folks by visiting their site. All ya'll will remember how hard it is to get those initial "hits" so the search engines notice your site. So take a minute and visit their site.
