Random Free Hosting Site
We'd like to
congratulate The
Outpost at Cedar Creek for being the winner
of this month's free hosting site. At the beginning of each month we
will call up our own site's homepage. Whomever's site is the featured
site when the page loads will get FREE hosting of one domain for one
month. It's just our way of saying thank you.
Squirrel
Mail
By the time your read
this, all of our client's e-mail services should be switched to our new
mail system called Squirrel Mail. The biggest change is that the size
allotted for your mail account has gone from 10Mb to 150Mb. This
should help alleviate mail being rejected because your inbox is full
(exceeds the 10Mb limit).
The increased capacity will help our
clients that routinely deal in large attachments sent to them by e-mail.
If you currently have e-mail sent from
your Web site forwarded to your HotMail account or Yahoo! account (for
instance), you may want to take a look at our system and its
capabilities. We've set up a test account for you to explore and see
the many features available. Use these settings:

Use a Call
to Action
One of the best ways to
convert visitors to your site into customers is by using a call to
action. A call to action is a
statement that makes people commit to a decision, such as 'Subscribe
Now' or 'Get This Offer' or 'Make Reservation NOW!'. It serves to
remind the visitor why they came to your Web site. Place them toward
the top of the page. For those users that want to click, it allows
them to find it easily. For those who are still deciding, it's a great
reminder of what they have to do.
Glaring calls to action tend to get the best results. Don't have
several useless links on the page that will take the visitor back into
your site; rather include the links that will get them to actually
purchase your product/service or consummate a reservation.
